Description
On the front side is the national emblem of Ghana. Directly below it was an inscription indicating this with a signature translated as "Republic of Ghana." The denomination of the gold coin, which is 500 sedi, is also indicated.
The reverse side of the money sign contains an image of a lever bear, represented on the background of the mountains. The inscription in translation means: "Giants of the Ice Age."
