The coin weighs 1 troy ounce (31.1 g) and is made of the purest silver. The obverse of the money piece depicts the Queen of Great Britain — Elizabeth the Second with a crown on her head. Around the portrait there is an inscription denoting the monarch and the denomination of the coin. The reverse of the silver coin depicts the mythical beast Yale, and also indicates the metal, weight, purity of silver and the year of issue of the coin.
