The magnificent 1 kg silver coin is the fourth in the "Big Five" series. It features a rhinoceros, one of the biggest animals on Earth.
The obverse of the coin features the coat of arms of Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) with the inscription: "REPUBLIQUE DE COTE D'IVOIRE" - the issuing country, "2020" - the year of issue and "10000 FRANCS CFA" - the face value.
The reverse of the coin features the impressive head of a rhinoceros. On top of the reverse are the following: "1 KG .999 AG" - coin weight and silver purity, "MAUQUOY" - series name, "HAUT-RELIEF" – in French that means “high relief”, and "RHINO" - coin name.
The coin is in high relief with an antique finish and comes in a deluxe wooden case with a certificate of authenticity. The mintage is limited to 150 pieces worldwide.
